How to ensure the health of surrogate mothers in terms of covid-19 pandemic

Due to the data of the World Health Organization, pregnant women have an increased risk of developing severe Covid-19. Due to changes in bodies and immune systems, pregnant women can be badly affected by some respiratory infections. It is therefore important that they take precautions to protect themselves against Covid-19.

Our surrogate mothers follow the recommendation of the WHO how to protect themselves against Covid-19. They keep social distance, avoid crowded spaces and anyone who has symptoms suggestive of coronavirus. Wear a mask if they are outside. They always remember to avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth. Stay active, keep a balanced diet, take vitamins, and keep hydrated. Our pregnant surrogates always attend routine care appointments and follow the directions of the doctors. If case of symptoms of Covid-19, they are prioritized for testing.

The WHO reports say that the active virus has not been found in samples of fluid around the baby in the womb or breastmilk, but further research is still needed.
